Am I suitable for the FemiWand® treatment?

The treatment is appropriate for healthy females over the age of 30. Clients who are breastfeeding or pregnant are not advised to undergo the treatment. We advise clients to wait at least three months after a normal childbirth before having the FemiWand® treatment.

How is the procedure performed?

Vaginal Tightening with FemiWand® is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment designed to restore and repair vaginal tissue without the use of anaesthetic or numbing creams.

FemiWand® is a High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound treatment that utilises powerful ultrasound energy. When this is applied, it produces concentrated thermal heating to the inner layers (SMAS) of vaginal tissue.  The accuracy of the procedure allows total control over the movement and intensity of the ultrasound to ensure maximum comfort for every patient.

FemiWand® is a 20-minute procedure that can be performed on your lunch break. Most clients report no pain and require no downtime after the procedure. Treatments are scheduled four or six weeks apart.

Preparing for Your Procedure

The FemiWand® procedure is approximately 20 minutes, but clients can expect to spend 30 minutes in the clinic for the entire process.  This non-invasive procedure requires no anaesthetic or numbing creams and is completely painless. Clients are advised to plan to have the FemiWand® procedure when they are not on their menstrual cycle and to avoid intercourse for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

Because every woman’s physique is different, your aesthetician will discuss the optimal number of treatments to suit your requirements and goals.

Following the treatment

A primary advantage of Vaginal Tightening with FemiWand® is that no downtime is required following the treatment. You can return to your daily routine immediately, and after 72 hours you can resume sexual activity. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours before resuming exercise.
