The Procedure

Vaginal Tightening at VIVO Clinic London uses High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology. Our unique FemiWand device emits this ultrasound into the vaginal wall at predetermined depths. The heat produced from the convergence of the ultrasound beams encourages the regrowth of collagen and tightens the skin.

Although this sounds unpleasant, it is a safe and painless procedure. The probe is lubricated before the treatment to minimise any discomfort, and a condom placed on it for safety. As well as this, our practitioners can reduce the depth of insertion if you feel any pain.

Types of Vaginal Tightening at VIVO Clinic London

There are two types of Vaginal Tightening treatment available at our London Clinic. The first level is Superficial Tightening, where the FemiWand probe fires ultrasound into the outer layers of skin near the surface of the vaginal wall. While this tightens the vagina, this only lasts for 6 to 8 weeks. The second and most effective option is Muscular Tightening. This treats the same layers as the Superficial Tightening but also rejuvenates the muscular layer in the vaginal wall. Muscular Tightening results in a tighter and firmer vagina for up to 18 months!
